Amanda is an artist and educator, while she grew up in south eastern Connecticut she transplanted to the Boston area in 2003. She has her Bachelors of Fine Art in Photography from The Art Institute of Boston (now Lesley Art and Design) and a Masters of Art Education from Lesley University. In addition to teaching high school art, Amanda continues to explore themes of place and memory in her photographic work.
Amanda also has a lifelong love of treasuring hunting for abandoned photographs that started with 2 glass negatives picked from a wooden barrel while tag sale-ing with her mother. Her ever growing collection can be seen on Instagram at FamilySlideShow.
